Wilberforce University

Ohio’s own HBCU is Wilberforce University, and a proud legacy of excellence is not the only thing that makes Wilberforce special. The university was the first college owned and operated by African Americans, and has played host to distinguished professors like W.E.B. Du Bois throughout the years. Go Bulldogs!
